PT. Inline with its technology development, Mahaka Advertising now also expands to digital media. This year, Mahaka Advertising already has three LED Screens, all in strategic locations. The first LED Screen that started operating in June 2010, is in Kemang area, one of the most crowded area in Jakarta. Kemang is famous as an area that is filled with cullinaries and exclusive shops. The LED location at La Codefin intersection was chosen because it is one of the most crowded intersection in Kemang.
Besides Kemang, other strategic location that Mahaka Advertising chose to build its LED Screen is at Jl. Asia Afrika, South Jakarta, in front of STC Senayan. These location is very strategic for outdoor media because it is one of the main street with busy traffic and wide target audience, near office area, schools and campus, as well as cullinary area. This 4x6 meter LED Screen that was built in this area is the best LED product, namely LED Barco TF-16BK from Belgium. The LED is the most energy saving LED that gives high resolution pictures with higher black level, because LED with black lights is able to give a much better contrast ratio. Besides all the benefits, this LED is completed with Remote Management Software that automatically is able to control LED brightness level for an optimal visualization in any environment and weather condition, as well as able to detect every failure and has various built-in fail-safe mechanisms to automatically protect its content and hardware anytime.
Outside Jakarta, Mahaka Advertising placed its LED Screen in Bandung, at Jl. Sukajadi, near Paris Van Java Mall. There is always traffic jam everyday in that location, that makes it the best location for outdoor media promotion. Furthermore, the area is packed with mall visitors, near schools and campus, and also the access to tourism area Lembang, that is often passed by the tourists from outside Bandung.
From client’s point of view, outdoor media is a promotion facility that has mass target audience and now with digital technology, the process becomes more efficient and can fully support their ad campaign because the communication that is displayed in digital outdoor media can be more interactive and attractive, so that public will be more aware and remember the products and messages that need to be delivered.
With advertising expenditure of Rp. 1,2 billion only in Jakarta, this digital outdoor media will give more value to Mahaka Media, because not many outdoor companies that already put their investement in digital outdoor media. For that reason, Mahaka Media will expand its investment in the digital outdoor media in other strategic locations, in Jakarta as well as in other big cities.
